Cats Drop Tough Game 2 Against Wake Forest, 6-3

Lexington, Ky:

Tonight was not the Wildcats night.

Wake Forest gets on the board with the first two goals. First one at 18:18. The second one comes in at 8:23 left in the first period.

The Wildcats answer back with a goal from Max Proctor with 14:30 left in the second. No goals were scored since, but some scraps around the Wake Forest goal took place.

Wake Forest extends their lead to 2 by scoring a goal early in the third with 18:40 left. Wake would again making it 4-1. Then with 18:16 left to go in the third, yea you guess it, Wake Forest scores again making the score 5-1. They continue their scoring streak and make it 6-1 before Ryan Duffy would score on the power play, cutting the lead to 5 goals. Jake Deemer would score off the face off with 2:25 left in the 3rd but nothing more came of it.

The Cats are now 20-3-3 on the year.
