Cats Get Series Opening Win Against Stevenson

Last night at the Lexington Ice Center the Wildcats got the win against Stevenson University by a score of 5-2. The Cats are now 13-1-1 on the season and ranked 11th in the ACHA Southeast division.

The Cats would get goals from Jake Deemer and Peter Dolan in the first, but Stevenson would get two goals as well. The first would end in a 2-2 tie. From there is was all Kentucky.

Max Proctor and captain Jimmy Kasch would each find the back of the net in the second, and Ryan Huesman would score in the third. Eric Willams again played a good game, only allowing the two first period goals. He’s been very solid this season in net.

Game two takes place tonight at midnight at the Lexington Ice Center. Come out and be loud for your #11 University of Kentucky Hockey Club!
