Cats beat the Tar Heels in Game One

Last night UK got back to their winning ways, beating UNC by a score of 5-1. This moves the Cats to 9-1-1 on the year.

UK got a goal from Gary Eastlack in the first, and a 1-0 lead after one.

Connor Gilbert would get his first goal of the season, and give the Cats a 2-0 lead to open the second period. Mikey Liszka would make is 3-0, but the Heels would answer by scoring their loan goal of the night. The second would end with a 3-1 Cats lead.

The Cats would get two more in the third. The first would be from Zach Bartuce, the second from Blake Riley. Giving the Cats a 5-1 victory.

The Cats will play the rate afternoon home game today at 4:30pm. It’s kids day and they will also have Wildcats Service Dogs there as well. It’ll be a great time by all, so come support the Cats as they look for win number 10 on the year against UNC.
